About

Hi I’m Sophie, I see myself as open-minded and passionate about helping people through times of difficulty. You may be struggling with something on your own or feel you need support that you can't get anywhere else. What you say matters to me. I will listen deeply to what you’re going through and will be with you every step of the way.
I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space for you to explore whatever may be troubling you. Maybe you would like help to make sense of it all when things feel completely all over the place. You may even have emotions like shame, anger, jealousy, or guilt, that are difficult to talk about. Sometimes the pain, confusion or worry can become too much, and you've just had enough. Things may have got to a point where you feel in crisis or powerless and you need support going forward.
Counselling with me allows you to go at your own pace, acknowledges your uniqueness, allows you to be heard, gives you the time and space to explore, reflect and deal with struggles you may be going through.
My approach aims to help you:
-
feel understood and less alone with what you are going through
-
process difficult emotions, experiences, or trauma
-
feel safe and grounded, going at your own pace without pressure
-
gain relief and lessen the burden in times of difficulty
-
get to know and understand yourself better
-
explore what your needs are
-
trust your own instincts
-
become more empowered, resilient, and confident going forward
-
find the solutions that are right for you
