About

I combine a compassionate, empathic approach with challenging, dynamic and creating way of working. My aim is to be curious about who you are, exploring your emotions, experience, and struggles so that we can clarify and identify the things we can work to change. I encourage autonomy, choice and feedback throughout so that we are sure to be working towards the goals you believe are right for you.

The quality of the rapport and the relationship has shown to be the most important factor in therapy outcomes, therefore it is essential to feel it is a safe, trusting place for you to be able to be vulnerable, open and (with compassionate support) to work on and confront difficult feelings, issues you might be going through.

My aim is that you feel comfortable, experience a non judgemental, accepting response. I won’t give advice, or make decisions for you about the directions we take, but my role is to ask questions, reflect back, offer different perspectives, look at any themes or meanings that might be under the surface, build tools, resilience or new ways of approaching things.
